- This blog is about me,Larry W. Green an artist liviing in Chicago for the past thirty-five years. I was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and came to Chicago to go to school in 1971 at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I graduated in 1975 with a BFA in Painting and Printmaking.

Warm on cool is working here. Composition bold and reads loud and clear. I am brought back to some of my favorite WPA style works.
